Veterans are in a unique position to change the minds of our fellow Americans whose views, unfortunately, are being shaped by right wing propaganda. Our message is that progressives, liberals, and Democrats are, in fact, strong leaders who are committed to the values of America and that we will, because we have, stand and fight, whether it is at city hall, the state legislature, Congress, or the battlefield.
In order to achieve our goal, Veterans in Action will support worthy veterans who are running for political office at the national, state, and local levels, in Oregon and in national elections in other states. We will take an active role in the matters that affect both veterans and active duty personnel.
